First Foundation collects stories from first-generation college students so as to understand their journeys and inspire rising undergraduates. Not everyone has the ability to attend college, and for many families it takes generations of hard work to make that possible.
But it is possible — and these stories prove it.
By gathering many of these stories in one place, first-generation students and families alike can take solace in knowing that their college aspirations are real and achievable.
Another aspect of First Foundation’s mission is to provide resources to the next generation of first-generation students. Through our partnership with The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) in this regard, we turn dreams into realities.
